KETO Motors to Set Up ₹300 Crore Electric Bus Manufacturing Unit in Telangana
KETO Motors has entered into a strategic partnership with the Government of Telangana by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish an electric bus manufacturing facility with a proposed investment of ₹300 crore. This move marks another major step in Telangana’s journey towards becoming a preferred destination for electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing and sustainable mobility solutions.
The upcoming facility will focus on producing electric buses for urban and intercity transportation, supporting the shift towards clean and eco-friendly public transport across India. The project aligns closely with both the state and central government’s vision of reducing carbon emissions and promoting green mobility.
As per the agreement, the manufacturing unit is expected to generate significant employment opportunities, creating jobs for engineers, technicians, and skilled workers.
