KETO Motors Signs MoU with Telangana Government for ₹300 Crore Electric Bus Manufacturing Facility
KETO Motors has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Telangana to set up a state-of-the-art electric bus manufacturing facility with an investment of ₹300 crore. The proposed unit is expected to significantly strengthen Telangana’s position as a leading hub for electric mobility and green manufacturing in India.
According to the MoU, the new facility will focus on the manufacturing of electric buses designed for urban and intercity public transport, aligning with India’s broader push towards sustainable and zero-emission mobility solutions. The project is also expected to support the state’s electric vehicle (EV) policy objectives by promoting clean transportation and reducing carbon emissions.

Telangana government officials stated that the partnership with KETO Motors reflects the state’s proactive approach in attracting investments in emerging sectors such as electric mobility, advanced manufacturing, and clean energy. The state continues to offer industry-friendly policies, robust infrastructure, and ease of doing business, making it an attractive destination for EV manufacturers.
KETO Motors, through this investment, aims to contribute to the modernization of public transport systems by delivering efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly electric buses. The company also plans to leverage Telangana’s strong ecosystem of technology talent and industrial infrastructure to support innovation and scalability.
Once operational, the electric bus manufacturing facility is expected to play a key role in meeting the growing demand for electric public transport across Indian cities, while reinforcing Telangana’s vision of sustainable industrial growth and green development.
